The startup aerospace manufacturer, which announced plans to hire 14,500 employees in Greensboro, says it doesn’t plan to create hundreds of jobs in 2027 after all. It now plans to start creating jobs in 2028. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for next month.

Aerospace company JetZero will break ground on its “factory of the future” at PTI Airport in June. Greensboro city leaders and higher education institutions are preparing for the 14,500 jobs the company has promised.
JetZero keeps incentive eligibility despite lower early hiring goals at Greensboro site
"Because of delays in state budget funding, which have affected the ability to start our construction, the company requests modifications to its original projections," wrote Dan da Silva, JetZero's president and chief operating officer.
