Graphene Manufacturing Group Limited (GMG) has confirmed the granting of a patent for its Graphene Aluminium Ion Battery in Australia, representing a notable step forward in the company’s battery technology development and manufacturing efforts.

The University of Queensland (UQ) holds the patent, and GMG has a worldwide exclusive commercialization license. GMG has also signed a Collaborative Research Agreement with UQ – Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN).
