JOHN DAY – The Grant County Regional Airport in John Day has been awarded federal transportation funding to build a new fuel farm to include jet fuel. The federal Department of Transportation $171,760 award will be used to add a 15,000-gallon AvGas fuel tank to the current supplies, and a 15,000-gallon Jet A fuel tank and self-service pumps.
