Grand Strand sees overall dip in hotel occupancy over Fourth of July holiday

(WBTW) -- Fewer people booked rooms at Grand Strand hotels and motels during the week leading up to the Fourth of July weekend than a year ago, but tourism officials said the roughly 8% decrease was only part of the story.
