- The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology requires social media platforms and intermediaries to remove unlawful content within 3 hours of receiving a government order under 2021 Information Technology Rules, aiming to maintain an accountable internet.
- Beyond enforcement, the government conducted 6,650 cyber awareness workshops across India, reaching over 11.37 lakh participants including students and teachers through multilingual handbooks and educational videos under the Information Security Education and Awareness programme.
