The Government extended its support for colorful and marked agricultural diesel until the end of the year. After allocating 10 cents per litre (up to EUR 10 million) in the first half of the year, an additional EUR 15 million was approved for the second half of the year, raising the total amount of the measure to EUR 25 million.
Package covers fertilizers and energy fueled by war. Minister José Manuel Fernandes says 2026 is "an exceptionally difficult year for Portuguese agriculture".
These are payments to areas with animal conditioners and animal premiums.
