The Spanish government plans to cap the increase in the regulated price of natural gas at 15 percent from October in a bid to protect consumers, Spanish Minister for the Environmental Transition Sara Aagesen said today. The measure, which is set to apply for the upcoming heating season, is expected to cover around 3.1 million, or 40 percent, of all gas consumers.
