Over 250 Illinois families are set to receive supplemental payments of $200 this summer to help with energy costs, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced Thursday.

$200 utility assistance for more than 250,000 families in need

Thousands of Illinois families who are struggling to pay for the rising cost of utility bills will be getting an economic boost from the state. More than 250,000 families who are in the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will receive $200 to help with energy costs.
