Google Gemini sets new limits for free users: What changes, which features will remain available; check

- The app will add low, medium, and high effort levels for each available model in October. Subscribers paying $19.99 monthly will gain access to the Deep Think option for "maximum parallel reasoning."
- Users on the $4.99 per month plan will receive an email detailing when changes take effect. Google announced that the new Argon model is coming to AI Ultra, though its tier classification remains unspecified.
- These effort levels align Gemini with capabilities currently available in Google AI Studio and Antigravity. The company has yet to specify whether Argon will be classified as a Pro model or occupy a new tier.
