Galloway, NJ - The La Salle University men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh out of 12 teams at the challenging Wildcat Spring Invitational, hosted by Villanova at Galloway National Golf Club on April 6-7. The Explorers posted a 54-hole team total of 906 (+54), highlighted by a second-round surge that helped them climb the standings on a difficult layout where the field averaged more than six strokes over par.

GALLOWAY, N.J. //  Seniors Chip Deegan (Newport Beach, Calif.) and Jack Tarzy (Medford, N.J.) placed among the top 10 to lead the Navy men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Wildcat Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at the Galloway National Golf Course in Galloway, N.J. The Mids closed out the 54-hole tournament with a 44-over par 896 (296-297-303), 14 strokes back from Villanova who won the tournament with a 30-over par 882.
