Nearly two years after the great flood, Głuchołazy (Opole Voivodeship) has regained its most important road connection. A new bridge over Biała Głuchołaska on Gen. Sikorskiego Street (National Road No. 40) replaced the crossing destroyed during the flood in September 2024. Until now, traffic in Głuchołazy along National Road No. 40 had been using a temporary bridge built by the military.
