Girls golf: Bulldogs sweep Sigourney, Des Moines East in home opener

OTTUMWA — It wasn’t necessarily their knowledge of the course that helped them. Instead, it was how they used that knowledge to navigate throughout the course.

ESTHERVILLE—The Algona Bulldog girls golf squad had an impressive showing on Monday, April 21 with a second place showing in the Estherville Invitational played at the Estherville Golf & Country Club. The red-and-black’s 18-hole team total of 395 was topped only the Spencer Tigers’ score of 393 in the field of six different girls teams.
