Giant insects take over Korkeasaari for summer display

Visitors to Helsinki Zoo will encounter metre-high bugs from June as part of a new exhibition titled Suurenmoiset ötökät, which opens at Korkeasaari in early summer and runs through October. The exhibition features more than 20 species of insects and arachnids, enlarged up to 100 times their actual size. The largest model is a four-metre-wide solifuge, also known as a camel spider.
