German fashion brand Gerry Weber will close its last 40 stores in a bid to save its business. It is also expected that the sale and distribution of fashion items will be taken over by Spanish company Victrix.


Gerry Weber closes all German locations, nine in Baden-Württemberg are also affected. The traditional brand disappears completely from the shopping streets after decades.
Spanish Victrix Group acquires insolvent fashion manufacturers and closes all branches. The eviction sale in Bergedorf is ongoing.
