In the first weeks of the war with Iran, the German government approved arms exports to Israel worth 6.6 million euros ($7.8 million), although the volume of deliveries remained relatively low, according to official data published today by the German agency DPA.
Germany continues to support Tel Aviv's wars against its neighbouring countries. Most recently, armaments worth 6.6 million euros were exported to the Middle East.
The arms exports to Israel are controversial - only because of the Gaza war, now because of the Iran war. New figures show that the Federal Ministry of Economics has recently approved exports worth millions.
