Gemini 3.5 and Antigravity come to Google NotebookLM
Google says the upgraded assistant now has a 65% win rate in evaluations and can produce downloadable reports, charts and spreadsheets.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Google upgraded NotebookLM with its latest Gemini 3.5 model and the Antigravity platform, delivering "new agentic capabilities in chat and more advanced reasoning."
Each notebook now includes a "secure cloud computer" that lets NotebookLM write and run code for deeper research, while the chat experience can "guide you through building your source repository" from loose ideas and questions.
Google reported the upgraded system achieved an average win rate of over 65% against the older model, with more than 100 curated software skills improving accuracy across five core evaluation dimensions.
Users can now export generated content in PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX formats, and the tool allows users to request edits to materials after generation to refine outputs.
These features roll out starting today for Google AI Ultra and Workspace business customers, with plans to expand support for more output formats and extend capabilities to additional tiers over time.
