Within a few hours, more than 100,000 euros were raised to allow children from an asylum seekers' center in Sint Annaparochie to go to the Efteling amusement park. Four crowdfunding campaigns on GoFundMe had raised almost 104,000 euros together just before 13:45 on Saturday.

Because the funfair in the Dutch village of Sint Annaparochie ended in a big brawl between local youths and asylum seekers last year, it was decided to let the refugees go to the Efteling for free that day. But the PVV, Geert Wilders' party, did not think that was acceptable at the taxpayer's expense. A fundraising campaign was started.
