IDF troops remain in five locations as withdrawal deadline lapses, Lebanon says will consider it 'occupation'
Middle East: Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) has left southern Lebanese villages but some troops still remain in five locations despite the deadline of the order of their removal from the region expired.
IDF operations in Lebanon and Hezbollah casualty announcements over the past week
Israel conducted several military operations in Lebanon between March 13 and 17, 2025. The operations targeted Hezbollah activity, operatives, and infrastructure. Hezbollah announced the deaths of five of its fighters last week without directly specifying the cause.
