Over 30,000 Brewers Fans Pack American Family Field for World Series Game 4 Watch Party
More than 30,000 fans gathered for the broadcast, hoping the Brewers would clinch the title and end a long wait for Milwaukee.
On Tuesday, more than 30,000 fans packed American Family Field in Milwaukee to watch the Brewers play Game 4 of the World Series 1,200 miles away in Florida.
The Brewers entered the game with a 2-0 series lead, driving intense demand for watch parties that sold out within 20 minutes at $15 per ticket to benefit the Brewers Community Foundation.
Attendees filled all three decks of the 41,900-seat stadium from foul pole to foul pole. "I'm just so excited to be here," said Debra Dinsmore, a member of the Brewers' guest relations team.
The Tampa Bay Rays rallied to defeat the Brewers 4-3 in the 12th inning on Tuesday night, denying the franchise their first World Series title and forcing the series to continue.
Another watch party is expected for Game 5 on Wednesday night as the Brewers remain one victory away from closing out the Fall Classic despite the narrow loss in Florida.
