SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, JUL 10 – Samsung introduces a more affordable foldable with AI features, expanding its lineup with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and improved designs across devices, starting at $899.
- During Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 9, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
- In response to high prices, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE starting at $900, about $200 less than the standard Flip 7.
- Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 introduces multimodal AI with Google Gemini Live, enabling real-time screen sharing and contextual assistance via One UI 8 features.
- Pre-Orders for Samsung’s new foldables opened July 9, with devices available from July 25; buyers get Google AI service and 2TB cloud storage free for six months.
