Gala 150th year for Belleville Garden Club

Technically, it is called sesquicentennial, but that’s a lot of word. In plain counting, the Belleville Garden Club is marking its 150th anniversary this year. A sizeable crowd gathered in the Corby Rose Garden on Ann Street Wednesday afternoon was just one of several major events for the club to mark their anniversary. It was formal recognition of a plaque tracing the hard-working club’s history.
