The Ministry of Finance published the price caps for Tuesday on Monday. Gasoline in the Czech Republic will be sold for a maximum of CZK 40.64 per liter, diesel for CZK 40.86 per liter. The maximum fuel prices set by the state from Saturday to Monday were CZK 41.33 per liter of gasoline and CZK 43.13 per liter of diesel. The caps have therefore been reduced, slightly for gasoline, and more significantly for diesel.
At gas stations outside of motorways and expressways, the prices of fuels, especially diesel, will decrease. A liter of 95-octane gasoline will cost 1.605 euros, diesel fuel 1.736 euros, and heating oil 1.386 euros per liter.
Fuel will be cheaper from Tuesday. According to initial forecasts, diesel will be the most expensive, as well as heating oil - prices are expected to drop by about 10 cents.
