Artist and set designer Jaroslav Gebr was born exactly a century ago in southern Bohemia, but emigrated after the communist coup and his further life and professional journey took him to Hollywood. Not only his work in the dream factory is now commemorated by the Dragoun Gallery in Písek, which bears the name of Gebr's fellow student.
