A container of 23,000 kilos of Ecuadorian mandarin, variety tango, will go today (14 July) to the port to begin its journey to the United States on 21 July. In this way the first export of the variety of this fruit, cultivated in Pimampiro, in the province of Imbabura, is realized.

The achievement is the result of more than five years of technical work and bilateral negotiations between Agrocalidad and APHIS. The first shipment includes 23,000 kilograms of fresh fruit. See more
