RESPONSIBILITY for the rise in prices of food and consumer goods in Croatia cannot be unambiguously attributed to a single stakeholder in the supply chain, but the import component was a more significant generator of price increases than domestic production, according to a study by the Croatian Competition Authority for the period from January 2022 to July 2024.
