Hungarian MÁV Launches Direct Trains to Western Ukrainian Cities

Hungarian railway company MÁV will operate direct services to Berehove (Beregszász) and Uzhhorod (Ungvár) in Ukraine’s Transcarpathia region starting on Friday, the company said in a statement. According to the statement, the development of the border crossing was made possible by the cooperation of the Hungarian, Austrian and Ukrainian railway companies, as well as the transformation of the railway network in Transcarpathia.
