Hungarian MÁV launches direct trains to Western Ukrainian cities
Hungarian railway company MÁV will operate direct services to Berehove (Beregszász) and Uzhhorod (Ungvár) in Ukraine’s Transcarpathia region starting on Friday, the company said in a statement. Tisza EuroCity trains will ensure access to Uzhhorod from Vienna and Budapest, while Berehove could be reached by train from Záhony border station, MÁV said.
