Samuel L. Jackson's 'Frisco King' to Premiere on Dec. 18
Paramount+ says the Tulsa King spinoff will debut with two episodes and follows Samuel L. Jackson’s gangster as his influence and risks grow.
Paramount+ released a teaser Thursday for Frisco King, the Tulsa King spinoff premiering December 18. Samuel L. Jackson stars as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a New Orleans gangster relocating to a Texas suburb.
Originally titled Nola King and set in New Orleans, the series shifted production to Texas to align with creator Taylor Sheridan's production hub. The narrative expands the Tulsa King formula.
Joining Jackson are cast members Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann, with a special appearance by Tulsa King star Sylvester Stallone. Executive producers include Sheridan, Stallone, and Jackson.
Premiering with two episodes, the series follows Washington as he "discovers a hustler's playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia." New episodes air every Friday on Paramount+.
Frisco King continues creator Taylor Sheridan's prolific output for Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. The show explores how Washington transforms small-scale scams into major business, raising stakes as his influence grows.
