At the age of 85, Marie-Thérèse had been arrested on 1 April at her home in Alabama, USA, and then detained by the ICE immigration police. After diplomatic negotiations, she returned to France on Friday, 17 April. Her children expressed their relief.
Loctogenary, placed in an American detention centre at the beginning of April, returned to France. This afternoon, she arrived in Orvault, on the outskirts of Nantes, where her family was waiting for her. Her children gave news in a brief speech.
