American food and agricultural company Simplot is acquiring Clarebout Potatoes, based in West Flanders and the largest producer of frozen fries in Europe. Both companies announced this in a press release. Clarebout is the third-largest frozen fries producer in the world, after McCain (Canada) and Lamb Weston (US).
