Freight train runs red light near Sisak, collision with passenger train avoided at the last minute

TODAY at 8:20 a.m. between Lekenik and Greda stations, a HŽ Cargo train did not stop as scheduled at Lekenik station to wait for a crossing with a passenger train coming from the direction of Greda and ran a red light on the signaling device, HŽ Infrastructure announced.

An investigation is underway.
