Freeview urges Brits to retune TV as it makes 9 changes in latest update
Freeview added Lucky Cat TV and renamed or moved eight other services, while urging viewers to retune to restore access to updated channels.
On the 16th, Freeview launched an update featuring nine changes, including the addition of Lucky Cat on Channel 63. Viewers must retune TVs to access modifications and maintain an accurate Guide.
Individual Channels make decisions to move, add, or remove services as Channels are constantly evolving, Freeview stated, ensuring Viewers enjoy rich and varied content.
Adjustments include moving Your Music to Your Music MCR on Channel 85, while Classics is now on Channel 77 and Classics MCR is on 93. The update also features Lucky Cat on 63.
To update TVs, Viewers should press 'Menu' on the remote control, Select 'Set-up', and choose 'First-time installation'. After Select, Viewers must confirm deletion of existing Channels.
If asked for a password, the default code is '1234' or '0000'. Should an automatic retune fail, Viewers may need a manual retune to ensure all Channels are correctly updated.
