FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Freeport Police have arrested a Rockford teen for a shooting late Monday night. Freeport Police were called to Stewart Avenue and Harrison Street around 11:39 p.m. and were able to review video surveillance that showed a suspect, later identified as David Pospiech, 18, of Rockford, walking east on the sidewalk on Harrison Street. Freeport Police arrest Rockford teen for shots fired incident, uncover drug stash

18-year-old David Pospiech of Rockford was arrested in Freeport on Tuesday for a shots fired incident and possession of methamphetamine. He was taken to Stephenson County Jail and will stay there until the result of a detention hearing.
