Free black lung screenings offered Thursday in Whitesburg - Mountain Top Media

WHITESBURG, Ky. — Federal health officials are offering free black lung screenings for coal miners in Eastern Kentucky. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will host the screenings on April 16 at the Whitesburg Medical/Dental Clinic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is open to all current and former coal miners, including those who worked underground, on the surface, or as contractors.
