Frazee man accused of illegal possession of multiple guns

DETROIT LAKES — Justin Duane Puttbrese, 42, of Frazee has been charged with felon in possession of a firearm, a felony. According to court records, on Aug. 12, 2025, a search warrant was executed at his residence. Officers allegedly found a gun case in the kitchen area that contained two shotguns. Also found was a black Taurus 9mm handgun in what was believed to be Puttbrese’s bedroom underneath the mattress. Under the bed was a Ruger 9mm rifle.…
