Frans (99) and Germaine (96) Celebrate Their 75th Wedding Anniversary: “Of Course I Still Remember the Day I Saw Her for the First Time”

Germaine Kessens is 96, Frans Van De Gucht celebrated his 99th birthday last week. Together they were received last weekend in the town hall of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw with a glass of bubbles and an honorary diploma, because Frans and Germaine have been married for exactly 75 years. An alabaster marriage: at the civil registry of the municipality they cannot remember that they had experienced it before.
