Tribute Show to One of the Biggest 1960s Bands Coming to Gwent

Pop legend Frankie Valli, 92, confirmed on Instagram over the weekend he has not retired, disavowing a claim posted on Facebook Wednesday by his brother Bobby Valli.
Speculation regarding Valli's status emerged after he canceled his "The Last Encores" tour in May to prioritize health, though he has actually performed for 75 years, not the 60 years cited in recent reports.
Longtime representative Victoria Varela explained that Valli chose to cancel shows rather than postpone them, aiming to protect fans from having money held in limbo while he recovers his health.
Varela told Variety Friday that Valli still hopes to resume performing next year; he last performed Feb 22 at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula.
Meanwhile, tribute production "The Jersey Beats: Oh What a Nite" continues celebrating his legacy, with performances scheduled at the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran this autumn.
