According to several media reports, François Provost, Renault's Director of Purchasing and Public Affairs, is expected to take over from Luca de Meo this Wednesday at the head of the group. Not Breton Denis Le Vot, boss of Dacia, who was one of the favourites to take over the general direction.
While speculations about Luca de Meo's successor to Renault's post as general manager were going well, it was finally François Provost who would have been appointed by the group's board of directors. Far from being among the favourites, however, the current director of procurement and partnerships is not an unknown in the group that he joined in 2002.
