Two people have died in France from listeriosis, caused by eating cheese contaminated with the listeria bacteria, according to Santé Publique France. In total, health authorities are aware of 21 confirmed cases of people who have become ill after eating contaminated cheese.
Health authorities have identified 21 cases of listeriosis, including two deaths, which may have a "possible link" to the consumption of recalled cheeses.
These include camels, goats, gorgonzolas and bries, sold to most major distributors such as Leclerc, Auchan and Carrefour.
Goat log, camembert, coulomiers... The Reservoir Conso website warns consumers against several references that could make them sick.
