In Paris, there were another clash between protesters and police at pension protests on Tuesday. Across the country, 201 people were arrested and 175 police officers were injured, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said at the end of the day.
France pension protests enter 10th day
A tenth day of nationwide protests are underway in France as President Emmanuel Macron shows no signs of giving up on proposed pension reforms. Up to 900,000 protestors are expected to join rallies throughout France today in objection to Mr Macron’s plan to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64.
