Foxwell Named WCC Player and Freshman of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – University of Portland point guard Joel Foxwell was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week after leading the Pilots to a pair of wins, including a historic victory against No. 6 Gonzaga. Foxwell also picked up WCC Freshman of the Week honors for a league-best sixth time this season, sharing the weekly honor with Santa Clara's Allen Graves.

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball freshman phenom Allen Graves once again has been named the West Coast Conference's Freshman of the Week. The forward earned a share of the award for the week of Feb. 9, alongside Portland's Joel Foxwell. Graves has now won the award four times this season, tying Brandin Podziemski's program record for the most weekly awards (player or freshman) in a single season.
