Several persons and their pets rescued following unit fire in O'Connor

Several people and their pets have been rescued following a unit fire in O'Connor overnight. At about 8.30pm, ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire on David Street. Upon arrival they located a rear unit well alight with several animals trapped in the burning unit.
