GARFIELD PARK, CHICAGO, AUG 10 – Two teens and two men were shot early Sunday with two victims in serious condition; police have not made any arrests, officials said.
- In West Garfield Park, Chicago Police Department said four people were shot, including two teenagers, early Sunday in the 4500 block of West Wilcox Street.
- With motive unclear, the Chicago Police Department reports that as of Sunday, no arrests have been made in the investigation by Area 4 detectives.
- A 16-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man are in serious condition after being shot, while a 15-year-old boy and another 28-year-old man remain stable.
- Finding four gunshot victims around 1:40 a.m., officers took the teen to Stroger Hospital and the man to Mount Sinai Hospital.
- As detectives probe the case, Jason Ervin, 28th Ward Alderman, said `Our community was shattered by an unacceptable level of violence`.
