Fort Gay Town Council votes to have a representative involved with Mountain Heritage Day

FORT GAY — The Fort Gay Town Council, during its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 1, voted to have a member of the town's governing body be involved with the Mountain Heritage Day festivities, which were canceled this year. During the meeting, Town Recorder Wade Cyrus shared that his wife had shown him on Facebook that Mountain Heritage Day was canceled this year, which he suggested was a surprise to town officials.
