With the 2026 season underway and the Miami Grand Prix already concluded, Formula 1 thinks of the next year to continue adjusting the regulations and, this Friday, reached consensus to modify the power of the engines and thus diminish the influence of the hybrid. The FIA has reached an agreement in principle regarding adjustments to the Formula 1 engine regulations for 2027. The most significant change: the combustion engine will receive more power, while the electrical component will be slightly scaled back.
From next season the distribution to 50% between combustion engine and electric will go to a 60/40
