Former teacher on trial for sexually abusing student was 'guardian' to alleged victim in 1990s, judge hears

Former Calgary teacher Fred Archer, accused of sexually abusing a student in the 1990s, told police the 13-year-old student lived with him during times the boy’s father was working out of town and that he was a "guardian" to the child.
