A former longtime news anchor at WSFA 12 News has died. WSFA tells Action 8 News that Bob Howell passed away last night. Howell ended his 32 year stint at WSFA before retiring in 2012. The Alabama native started his career in radio in his hometown of Geneva, then spent five years working in the Dothan television market. Howell joined WSFA in 1976 and spent the next 22 years anchoring more than 10,000 newscasts and serving as the Managing Editor.…
