The man accused of shooting a Muscatine police officer has been arrested. Muscatine police say 59-year-old Mark Lee Jackson of Des Moines was arrested without incident around 7:30 Monday night on Oak Street in Muscatine. Jackson had been the subject of a days-long search after Friday’s shooting. Police say Jackson fled on foot following a vehicle pursuit and later fired at officers, striking one in the elbow.
