A former Lutheran church business manager will go on trial in April on federal charges for allegedly stealing more than half a million dollars from a North Dakota congregation. Carly Anne Tufte, the former business manager of Faith Journey Lutheran Church in West Fargo is accused of stealing $640,000 in church funds from April 2019 through December 13, 2024. She resigned after learning that the new church pastor intended to review the books.
