Pablo Alejandro Brula was sentenced to six months in suspended prison and perpetual special disqualification from holding public office, after the Justice determined that he omitted to report a partnership he had with his wife in Florida and two properties acquired through that firm. He had been appointed Director of Personnel of AFIP on December 17, 2015, a few days after the assumption of Mauricio Macri.
The decision was taken by the National Criminal and Correctional Federal Court No. 10, which also imposed on him a special perpetual disqualification from holding public office, in line with what had been claimed by the prosecutor Franco Picardi.
