Former 76ers mascot Hip-Hop to return as team celebrates the 2001 Eastern Conference champs

The Philadelphia 76ers announced the return of former mascot Hip-Hop as the team celebrates the 2001 Eastern Conference championship.

The Sixers are bringing back Hip-Hop

As was first reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers are bringing their old mascot back for select games in 2025-26.

The Sixers’ mascot, Hip Hop, was retired in 2011. Now, for the 25th anniversary of the 2001 team, they’re bringing him back.

And that's not all. Bill Roth, the original mascot, is coming out of retirement as well.
